#Pub 67: The Spread Eagle, Willenhall

I think we’ve decided that clone pubs are rarely going to exceed 3/5 and so is the case here as whilst it’s a pleasant pub, it’s standard offering means it’s just boring with little to differentiate it from any other pub that’s run by a chain. These pubs just lack individuality.

Despite Banks’s (or Marston’s) owning some good breweries, the only real ale on offer was Hobgoblin which was the best of a poor lot. Not even any Banks’s Mild.

3/5.
