Silver Birch and Freight Trains

These are the raw notes really tidied up, written largely as we went along, so it's our impressions as we did the trip - I've tried to keep the hindsight out of it. I'll be adding some photos and eventually I'll get a printed version done for those without computers such as Cousin Peter.
