Walsall 0:1 Harrogate Town

A disappointing performance from Walsall saw them lose against an unconvincing Harrogate side.

Walsall seemed not to have the guile or determination to force the issue against Harrogate who looked a bit fragile and as their confidence grew, Walsall looked more vulnerable as the game wore on.

In the end, a goalkeeping error from Evans saw Harrogate sneak it much to the crowds disapproval.

Walsall have not been good at the back since Monthe was sold and they haven’t really got an adequate replacement to partner Daniels at the back. Williams and Okagbue both look out of their depth and as a result, Walsall can’t defend, especially in the last 10 minutes.

Most disappointing.
